Week 1 - During week one, we
gathered ideas and brainstormed different ideas for prototypes for the robot. We broke
up into teams and
started building prototypes for the
arm, shooter, and elevator. Each team built a prototype of what mechanism they
wanted the robot to have. Then we tested each prototype that was built to see if
it worked. Each prototype worked but we are still unsure if they will accomplish
the task at hand. We also built the playing field and programmed the prototype
robot to respond to an infrared remote control.
